●Nexray Autoclaved Carbon Features
The manufacturing process of autoclaved carbon products, moulded with vacuums and high temperatures using sophisticated special technology, is completely different from that of traditional resin-bonded carbon products. Through this special manufacturing method, autoclaved carbon products with overwhelming lightness and high rigidity are receiving endorsements across the board in various top fields such as aerospace engineering, Formula 1 and Moto GP.

■Special protective coating
Nexray has two surface finishings.
In order to reproduce the feel of a racing machine, we developed a proprietary protective coating called semigloss coating. With a special film of clear coating, it is the finishing touch leveraging the feel of autoclaved carbon. Different from the usual clear coatings, it is a protective coating with depth that draws out the high quality feeling of the twilled pattern of the carbon prepreg used as Nexray material.

While both the semigloss and smoke black finishings apply a clear protective coating perfect for your needs, we implemented 25% (comparison ours) weight reduction compared to general autoclaved carbon products. Nexray is modelled with maximum consideration of the balance between the machine and its parts, so that the flavour of customization can be sensed while leaving behind the beauty of the standard model.
■Twilled Carbon ■High rigidity
With Nexray, plain weave carbon with extensive permeation is not used as a carbon fibre, in favour of a material with a twill design whose weave pattern in itself gives the machine a look of beauty and speed. It is produced using Japan-made carbon prepreg with world class quality as a material. Generally, dry carbon is made by pasting together countless sheets of prepreg material. In parts where strength is particularly sought after, strength is improved further by inserting honeycomb structure material between the prepreg.
